Visual Mining's NetCharts® helps Health First to more effectively report time-sensitive clinical data to physicians
Rockville, Maryland - July 28, 2004 - Visual Mining, Inc., a leading developer of reporting and data visualization solutions, today announced that Health First has selected NetCharts® to generate dynamic interactive charts over their secure physician's portal.
"We are collecting data from multiple systems and, with the use of XML and XSL, rendering clinical data graphs dynamically using NetCharts in a physicians' portal accessed by over 700 physicians," said Dallas Twiford, Developer. "We selected NetCharts primarily for the date/time line object controls built into the graph applets, specifically the combo chart. This was a huge time-saver to deploy time-sensitive data to our physicians in a graphical format. Another factor was the portability of java applets to any server environment."
"Health First's application provides physicians with up to date information on their patients, allowing them to make critical and accurate decisions in a fraction of the time it used to take," said Michael MacDonald, CEO and Founder of Visual Mining. "By integrating Visual Mining's NetCharts® into their application, Health First physicians will provide better patient care, and the Company realized an almost immediate ROI by eliminating months of development time."
