NetCharts® Server and NetCharts® Designer provide interactive data visualization for The National Research Exchange’s “Expert in a Box(SM)”
Rockville , Maryland - November 16, 2005 - Visual Mining, Inc., a leading developer of reporting and data visualization solutions, today announced that The National Research Exchange, Inc. (The NRE), the originator of intermediated equity research, has licensed NetCharts® Server and NetCharts® Designer to deliver interactive charts in an ASP environment. By embedding Visual Mining’s NetCharts products into "Expert in a Box (SM)", The NRE enables public companies and their advisors to leverage over 100 years worth of combined equity capital markets, research, banking and trading expertise to assess research and investment banking relationships in ways that improve the likelihood of success for public companies.
“We use Visual Mining's NetCharts Reporting Suite to make our visually arresting charts and graphs come alive in a manner that allows decision makers to make better decisions by imparting novel and compelling insights,” said David Weild, CEO for The National Research Exchange, Inc. “NetCharts Server is our chosen graphics development platform from and through which we deliver our end product to Expert in a Box (SM) subscribers. We expect to continue using NetCharts products as we expand the capabilities (modules) that Expert in a Box (SM) delivers to The NRE’s subscribers.”
“All NetCharts products offer software developers professional-quality, dynamic charting capabilities that quickly communicate information in a more readily understood format. The built-in robust interactivity allows developers to expose details as needed without overwhelming users with too much at once,” said Michael MacDonald, CEO and Founder of Visual Mining, Inc. “NetCharts Server’s flexible deployment options fit nearly any environment, while NetCharts Designer’s flexibility affords developers a way to rapidly create reporting templates with as much complexity and formatting options as desired. Together, as NetCharts Reporting Suite, the two products dramatically speed up production cycles, and tie up fewer resources.”
NetCharts Server provides the easiest and most comprehensive path to server-side generation of graphic images and can be used in J2EE, ASP, .NET, or Cold Fusion environments. The NetCharts Designer Integrated Development Environment (IDE) brings it all together - everything you need to create a dashboard, PDF report, performance metrics, or business intelligence report is at your fingertips.About Visual Mining, Inc:

About The National Research Exchange, Inc:
The National Research Exchange (The NRE) is the first company to exist for the purpose of addressing the increasing gaps in quality research coverage for many public companies. Research is essential to sustain efficient and liquid markets that support the capital formation needed to fund innovation, create jobs and sustain economic competitiveness.
The NRE has created a structured system to buffer research providers and companies from market and relationship conflicts and pressures (“Research OmbudsmanSM). We facilitate the sponsorship of research coverage (“Intermediated ResearchSM) for companies and underwriters under clear rules and protections for investors. This allows companies and underwriters to obtain adequate coverage thus helping to improve liquidity, lower the cost of capital and improve commercial prospects. These benefits accrue to shareholders through market cycles.
In addition, The NRE has created information systems (“Expert in a BoxSM”) that help users to evaluate and rank research providers and underwriters on the basis of a number of criteria that are essential to improving outcomes as a public company. The NRE eschews conflicts and will not engage in the authoring of research, the sale or distribution of securities, or the dispensing of investment advice. The NRE, established in 2003 and launched in May of 2005, has numerous patents pending. Visit www.ResearchExchange.com for more information.
